Program Notes:  

Songs to My Mother was composed to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday.   It  was composed with a three-note-motif from my mother's initials (H, H-M/B-B-E)  

My mother loves her family and friends. 

She loves singing, dancing, and traveling. 

She also loves to learn English. 

She is easy going and happy. 

And has her worries, 

but I would like to be like my Mom when I am 80: 

to be so passionate about learning new things and live each of everyday with such energy!
